1. Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
Below is an example of a science fair project for a fourth grader. I inspired the student to take photo documentation of the butterfly life cycle and then taught him how to use Photo Story to creatively put the photos together to make a movie. I also encouraged him to record himself playing the piano and use that as the background music. (I am his piano teacher.)

4. Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility
I have created a presentation of Digital Citizenship which I use with teachers in professional learning courses. There are various scenarios in which the teachers must choose the correct action to take in various situations related to digital citizenship.
5. Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership
In January of 2010, I returned to the Florida Educational TechnologyConference where I led a six-hour workshop on "Infusing Higher Level Thinking Skills into the Classroom Through the Use of Free Internet Tools." I have led many one-hour seminars, so this was a real challenge for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have submitted a workshop proposal for 2011 on using Claymation movies to document student learning.
I have attended these conferences and presented a session at each one:

Digital storytelling is an emerging art form of personal expression that enables students in shaping a personal digital story about self, family, ideas, or experiences. The technology tools invite writers to think and invent new types of communication outside the realm of traditional linear narratives. Digital Storytelling engages technical tools to weave personal tales using images, graphics, music and sound mixed together with the author's own story voice. This site includes many resources for teachers and students to assist in digital storytelling to improve student achievement. They include many samples of digital storytelling to document learning, as well as links to many other digital storytelling websites. Here is my favorite example,"Meet Granny Smith." I have participated in a workshop with Bernajean Porter, and her enthusiasm is contagious!
